Waterfront campgrounds and RV-friendly sites fill quickly during peak season. If you’re visiting in summer, reservations are highly recommended and should be made well in advance.
Dispersed camping around Lake Chelan offers a more flexible and rugged alternative to developed campgrounds, with sites typically located on public lands and forest roads. These areas do not have formal amenities like bathrooms, water, or designated campsites, but they provide more space, solitude, and a closer connection to nature.
