Murals pop up on the sides of buildings, retaining walls, garages, and parking lots across virtually every Seattle neighborhood. Some advertise local businesses, some are the work of individual artists, and others are simply someone expressing themselves on available concrete.
The murals below are concentrated in the northern neighborhoods — Ballard, Phinney Ridge, Fremont, and Whittier Heights — where street art density is highest. Henry, a prolific local muralist, is well represented throughout.
