Winthrop is about 12 miles south, close enough for a morning coffee run or an evening dinner in town. The Wild West downtown has a handful of restaurants, breweries, and shops — and the Methow Valley's trail system for hiking and mountain biking is accessible from multiple trailheads in and around town.
