Don Morse Memorial Park is located on the shores of Lake Chelan right next to the downtown area of the city of Chelan. The 44 acre park has over 2,000 feet of waterfront and is a popular destination for water activities during the summer months, with a large beach, protected swimming area, and a paddleboard launch spot. The park also has a skate park, four sand volleyball courts, and two tennis courts lined for pickleball. The park is open year round and there is no fee to enter. There are two parking lots, both of which have a fee, and during the busy summer months these lots can fill up.
Both parking lots within the park charge a fee. During peak summer months the lots fill up, so arriving early or walking from downtown is recommended.
The beach and swim areas are not staffed with lifeguards. Swim at your own risk.
The go kart track and putting course are open seasonally, generally from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Hours and pricing vary by operator.
The two picnic shelters can be reserved in advance. Walk-in use is permitted when not reserved.
