Twenty-Five Mile Creek State Park
Downtown Chelan
Don Morse is the most popular beach in Lake Chelan for good reason. It offers a large sandy beach, a protected swim area for small kids, sand volleyball courts, picnic areas, and plenty of room to spread out.
Downtown Chelan
Lakeside Park has a great beach setup with swimming access, a play area, and large mature trees providing excellent shade. The vibe is more relaxed than Don Morse, making it a good option if you want something a little quieter in the same area. The park itself is free, but parking spots inside the park require a fee. There is also a nearby bus stop for the free Link Transit bus.
South Shore
Lake Chelan State Park offers extensive waterfront, nice beaches, a terraced grassy hillside, and plenty of room to spread out. There's also a large campground nearby, which makes it a great option if you're already staying in the area.
South Shore (far end)
Located at the far end of the South Shore, this park offers a protected swim area and quiet lake frontage. Works best as a convenience stop for those already camping in the area rather than a destination beach day.
Near Manson
Willow Point Park feels more local and less crowded than the larger Chelan parks. There is no real beach to speak of, but it has a nice grassy area to sit, look out over the water, use the swim area, and enjoy the play area and shade. A great option if you're staying near Manson.
Manson
Manson Bay Park is a standout for families with younger kids. There is no sandy beach, but a small grassy area to lay out and the calm, protected swim area make it one of the safest swim spots on the lake. Good parking and a more relaxed pace than the downtown Chelan beaches.

Summer weekends get crowded fast. The best spots fill early.
Many parking lots fill up by mid-morning in peak season.
Some parks require paid parking or a Discover Pass. Check which one before you leave.
Shade matters more than people expect during July and August.
If possible, arrive early, especially at the most popular beaches.

Arrive early. Popular beach parking fills up by mid-morning on summer weekends.
Bring shade if your chosen beach has limited trees. A canopy or umbrella goes a long way.
Don't assume parking will be easy. Check which parks have paid lots vs. roadside.
If staying downtown, walk to Don Morse or Lakeside Park and skip the parking headache.
Pack lunch for the bigger parks. Food options on-site are limited.
