Fox Creek Campground sits along the Entiat River at the confluence with Fox Creek, approximately 30 miles up the Entiat River Road at 2,000 feet in elevation. The Forest Service campground has 16 first-come, first-served sites, all within earshot of the river. A handful of sites sit directly on the riverbanks — the rest are set back under a dense canopy of trees that provides shade and a measure of privacy between sites. Some sites have extended parking pads with enough room for an RV. Garbage service is available at the campground. A water supply exists on-site, but it has not been operational and does not appear to be returning to service — bring your own water.
Two vault toilets serve the campground, one near the entrance and one further in. Site 10, directly on the river, is one of the standout spots: level, shaded, with easy access into the water. Fox Creek sits between Pine Flats to the south and Lake Creek to the north, making it a practical mid-valley base for day trips further into the Entiat Valley without the long drive to the upper campgrounds. The campground is open seasonally from mid-May through late October.

The Entiat River is the centerpiece of Fox Creek Campground — it's audible from every site and accessible from most. Several sites sit directly on the banks, and site 10 offers especially easy access into the water. The river supports rainbow trout and mountain whitefish, making it a draw for anglers. Swimming in the clear, cold water is popular in summer, though always check current flow before wading.
The Silver Falls Trail is about 6 miles further up the valley — a short, stunning hike to one of the most photographed waterfalls in the Entiat. Lake Creek Campground, just 1 mile north, sits at the Lake Creek Trailhead for more backcountry access. View all options at the Entiat Hiking Guide.
Several trails in the Entiat Valley are open to mountain bikes, including the Mad River Trail to the south. Tyee Ridge Road, accessible further up the valley, connects to additional riding opportunities.
Most trails in the Entiat Valley are open to dirt bikes. The campground's mid-valley location puts you within range of trails both to the south and north, with the Glacier Peak Wilderness boundary limiting motorized access on the upper sections.
