Lake Creek Campground sits along the Entiat River approximately 31 miles up the Entiat River Road at 2,200 feet in elevation. The 18-site campground is perched above a narrow, fast-moving section of the river — you can hear the water rushing below from every campsite. Dense forest surrounds the campground, and limited to no cell service is the norm this far up the valley. The campground is open seasonally from mid-May through late October.
With the exception of sites 2, 16, 17, and 18, all campsites are on the river side of the campground road, many with remarkable views of the Entiat River below. Several sites require a short walk down from the road to reach the picnic table, fire ring, and tent area. Site 1 is the standout — tucked at the confluence of Lake Creek and the Entiat River, it is one of the most scenic individual campsites in the entire Entiat Valley. Nine sites are reservable through Recreation.gov; sites 3 through 12 are first-come, first-served. The Lake Creek Trailhead is within walking distance, providing access to the Lake Creek Trail, Middle Tommy Trail, and South Tommy Trail.
