At the far north end of Lake Chelan, the remote community of Stehekin has a bakery and a restaurant at North Cascades Lodge — but getting there is a full-day commitment. The ferry from Chelan takes about four hours each way, and Stehekin is accessible only by boat or floatplane. Plan it as a dedicated day trip, not a quick dinner run.
