Overview

Camping near Wenatchee is almost entirely state and county park camping — there is no National Forest land immediately adjacent to the city, and dispersed camping is not a significant option. What the area does have is a strong lineup of Columbia River campgrounds: Lincoln Rock State Park and Daroga State Park both sit on the river with electric hookups and full amenities, while Wenatchee Confluence State Park puts you at the meeting of the Wenatchee and Columbia Rivers steps from the Apple Capital Loop Trail.

For groups, Squilchuck State Park in the creek canyon southwest of town offers a group campground and a rentable historic lodge. The campgrounds span a wide geography — from Daroga in Orondo 20 minutes north to Squilchuck 9 miles to the southwest — so use the map below to find what fits your trip.
